Protesters March in Bangkok

Anti-government protesters rally in Bangkok's business district to condemn clashes between police and protesters October 17, 2008. Two people died and nearly 500 people, including dozens of police, were hurt in last week's clashes outside parliament. Police were accused of brutality for firing tear gas grenades that blew off several people's limbs.Several thousand anti-government protesters block streets in downtown Bangkok, Thailand, Friday, Oct. 17, 2008. This was first major demonstration since Oct. 7, 2008, when several people were killed and hundreds injured in a clash with Bangkok Police.
